Mary Davis – Chief Operating Officer (Foothills & Otter Creek Academy)- M.S
Mary has a Bachelor degree in social work and received a Master of Science in Correctional and Juvenile Justice studies. She also is certified in Juvenile Sexual Offending counseling. Mary came to us after working over 14 years with the state. During her time she worked abuse/neglect investigations with DCBS. She also worked with DJJ youth who were on probation and those who had been committed. In 2013 Mary moved to the position of Executive Director of Programs for both Otter Creek and Foothills Academy.
Lee Parrigin – Executive Director – M.Ed. LPCC
Lee has a Master of Education in Counseling and Human Development from Lindsey Wilson College. Lee is also a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), Life Space Crisis Intervention (LSCI), Certified Group Counselor and has experience in Cognitive Behavioral Trauma Focused Therapy. Lee has over 15 years experience working with at-risk youths.
Tammy Parrigin – Treatment Director – M.Ed. LPCC
Tammy has a Master of Education in Counseling and Human Development from Lindsey Wilson College and is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Life Space Crisis Intervention (LSCI), Certified Group Counselor, Cognitive Behavioral Trauma Focused Therapy, and a Juvenile Sex Offender Therapist (JSOTP). She has 10 Years experience working with at-risk youths.
Kenneth Amburgey – Counselor - MAPC, MAAC, LPCA
Kenneth completed his Bachelor of Science in Christian Counseling at Liberty University, before transferring to The University of the Cumberland where he obtained a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Master of Arts in Addiction Counseling in the fall of 2017. Before completing his Masters, Kenneth served as a Consumer Safety Inspector for the United States Department of Agriculture for 14 years.
Michael Hardin – Director of Daily Operations
Michael has over 9 years experience working with at-risk youth.

Richard has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Eastern Kentucky University. He is a Certified group counselor and has a Life Space Crisis Intervention (LSCI) certification. He has 8 years experience working with at-risk your and has a Masters of Education in Counseling and Human Development from Lindsey Wilson College. He is also pursuing licensure in Mental Health Counseling.

Gary has 35 years experience in Human Resources and Finance. He received his Graduate Degree in Banking from Louisiana State Univeristy in 1992 and his Bachelors Degree in Pre Law from the Univerisity of Kentucky in 1982. He has been with Foothills Academy since 2008.
Brian Tompkins – Training Coordinator –
Brian is a Graduate of Volunteer State Community State College with an Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies. He is also a Graduate of Somerset Community College with an Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice and A Graduate of Bethel University with a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice. Has been at Foothills Academy since 2015

In addition to 22 years of experience as a probation and parole officer, Doug has a BA degree from Eastern Kentucky University in Business Administration.
Kela Capps – Counselor - MSWKela is a two-time alumni of Campbellsville University with a Bachelors and Masters degree in Social Work, where she was a member of the Phi Alpha Honor Society for Social Work, graduating Cum Laude. She also has an Associate in Applied Science and Associate in Arts degree from Somerset Community College.

I have been blue cottage counselor at Foothills for approximately two years. I have an Associate of Arts Degree from Somerset Community College with a major in business. I am a 2x alumni of Campbellsville University where I am a member of Phi Alpha Honors Society.
Stephanie Gallagher – Counselor – M.Ed, LPCA
Stephanie has a Bachelors in Human Development and Counseling and a Masters of Education in Counseling and Human Development from Lindsey Wilson College. She has experience working with drug and alcohol treatment and theory. She is a LCADC as well.
Darlene Conover – Counselor – M.Ed, LPCA
Darlene has a Master of Education in Counseling and Human Development with a specialization in Mental Health from Lindsey Wilson College. For over 30 years she has enjoyed working in the field of counseling/human service. During that time, she has work with non-profit community mental health agencies, providing counseling, service coordination for high-risk children/youth, Independent Living Skills classes and a Transitional Living program for youth in care of the state. Darlene worked for the KY Cabinet For Health and Family Services, Division of Regulatory Childcare, providing licensure, regulatory inspections and investigations for childcare programs in 30 southeastern counties. Darlene is currently a LPCA and becoming a Licensed Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor.
